At VOAS we are experienced in a range of complex surgeries to treat oral tumours in dogs. Whilst many surgeries can seem quite dramatic, recovery is generally within 2-3 weeks and the quality of life after surgery is normally very good. In most cases the cosmetic effects are very acceptable, in fact even with radical surgery the alterations to appearance are often minimal. All surgeries include a preoperative CT scan to allow the extent of surgery and margins to be assessed.
